Weighbridge, scrap yard, production, quality, sales, accounts and finance ran on disconnected spreadsheets and standalone tools, causing reconciliation delays, duplicate data entry, and no real-time cost visibility.
Designed and delivered a fully custom ERP unifying seven core functions into one workflow. Weighbridge tickets (gross/tare/net) feed automatically into scrap yard inventory and production batching. Each production heat/batch is tracked from scrap charge through output, yield, and furnace, with quality control results (chemistry, dimensional, surface) linked directly to the batch record. Sales orders draw on live finished-goods stock, while accounts and finance receive automatic cost roll-ups per batch — including scrap input cost, yield variance, and standard-vs-actual cost per MT. Role-based dashboards give plant, sales, and finance teams a single live source of truth instead of siloed spreadsheets.
Reconciliation between weighbridge, production and accounts dropped from days to real time. Management gained instant visibility into yield, rejection rates, and cost-per-MT by heat/batch. Manual data entry across departments fell sharply, and month-end closing — previously a multi-day exercise — became a same-day process.
